We absolutely loved exploring the city, going to the beaches, enjoying the holy week processions and then coming home to a clean and beautiful apartment. Mar is especially lovely. Amazing apartment. I was never at airbnb as this one. There was everything you can imagine you will need. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom…even details like umbrella or wellcoming gift. Amazing. Only thing to be aware of is that there is no oven, which you can see in the photos. You have to be flexible with your cooking, but you’ll probably eat out most of the time anyway😄

I had the perfect three week stay in Mar’s apartment! Working remotely, the WI-Fi and desk set up were perfect, no issues at all. This is a great apartment for 1-2 people looking for a relaxing getaway. The terrace is ideal for evening dinner outside. Walking distance to the beach and the old town was great. Tons of restaurants, bars, and gelaterias nearby. Mar was extremely kind, responsive, and well-prepared. She provided tons of great recommendations for things to do and places to go, and checked in regularly to ensure I had everything I needed. Overall a wonderful experience and I would certainly book with Mar again if I am lucky enough to return to Marbella in the future.

This apartment is in such a brilliant location, it was our first time to Marbella so we didn’t know where to stay, what to do or how to do it. The apartment is a 2 minute walk from Old Town Marbella and 2 minutes from the beach! Lots of great restaurants on the way down to the beach too! The apartment is on the 5th floor (with a lift) so at nighttime you can’t hear what’s going on outside which is great!
Mar helped us so much with advise, from getting busses to diner recommendations. She has been the best host! Always reply’s straight back to messages & questions and lives super close by.

Our weeks stay was exceptional! The apartment is exactly how it looks on photos, the location is superb.
A 2 minute walk to the bus stop that can take you to Puerto Banus and a 5 minute walk to the sandy beach, what has its own port so you can rent boats / jet skis etc! You can pay for sun loungers ( roughly €14 for two ) or with Mar’ towels and umbrella you can sit/lay on the sand for free ( many people do this ).
The apartment has many supermarkets & restaurants around, but not once was there a noise issue for us at night.
There is a huge balcony/terrace that is a sun trap and 2 working aircon units within the apartment.
As for Mar, thank you ever so much! Our stay was one to remember and we will definitely be returning & recommending to friends and family.Saffron, UK

Por la noche, no hay ruido y se puede dormir con tranquilidad. La cama es de 180 y se agradece mucho. La casa está muy limpia, contiene todos los utensilios (de calidad) que puedas necesitar, y se nota que Mar ha puesto mucho esfuerzo en garantizar que los huéspedes disfruten de una estancia cómoda e inolvidable. No solo el apartamento es perfecto, sino que Mar también pone ese esfuerzo extra que hace la diferencia. Es totalmente recomendable y sin duda volveré. Por último mencionar que es un placer disfrutar de las noches de verano en su terraza y que cuenta con un parking (fundamental en esta área de la ciudad).

The apartment itself is in the perfect location. It’s right next to the historic center and the beach. Cafes, restaurants, and shopping at every corner!! Die Wohnung von Mar ist einfach ein Traum und mit sehr sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Wohnung war mit Abstand die sauberste und geschmackvollste Wohnung, die ich jemals bei Airbnb gemietet habe. Die Lage ist sehr gut und alles ist gut per Fuß zu erreichen. Wer gerne an den Strand geht, der muss nur 5 Minuten laufen. Restaurants und Bars sind alle in Reichweite und zu Genüge vorhanden. Mar und Eva sind sehr sehr freundliche Gastgeber und beide geben sich äußerst viel Mühe, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Somit kann ich Mar ´s Wohnung bzw. Wohnungen (Sie hat noch andere Wohnungen in Marbella zu vermieten) nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Wohnungen sind gut durchdacht eingerichtet und es mangelt einen als Gast wirklich nichts. Danke liebe Eva und Mar für eure Gastfreundschaft und die wundervolle Zeit in Marbella. Ich komme gerne wieder!!!

Mar is without doubt the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. She met me on check in showed me the apartment and then walked me around the local area pointing out the supermarket, gym and her favourite restaurants. On the day I had a car she came over to show me where the parking spot was bought me fresh avocado and mango. If I could give Mar extra ratings I would. The apartment is great everything is modern with everything you need for a good stay. It’s centrally located and shops bars and restaurants are on your doorstep and the beach is a 5-10 min walk away. The co-hosts are so nice and helpful, they are reactive and provided us with good recommendations!! The Appartment is really nice, everything is brand new and is very well decorated. Excellent séjour dans l’appartement de Mar, Allez y les yeux fermés ! Accueil chaleureux par Iciar la super co hôte de Mar. Appartement très propre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour se sentir comme à la maison. Tout est pensé dans le moindre détail pour se sentir chez soi. Il ne manque rien ! Le logement est très bien situé. Il y a tout à proximité : plage, belle promenade du bord de mer de Marbella, commerces, supermarchés et aussi le centre historique très vivant avec ses ruelles typiques, ses restaurants et son jardin magnifique. Vous pouvez tout faire à pied ! Et si vous avez une voiture la région est riche en visite ! Nous avons aussi fait la connaissance de Mar en fin de séjour car elles sont venues toutes les deux nous dire au revoir et c’était vraiment très gentil et attentionné de leur part. Mar is een geweldige host! Haar appartement is prachtig, ruim en centraal gelegen. Met 2 minuten sta je in het oude centrum en het is slechts 7 minuten lopen naar het strand. Eigen plek in parkeergarage op 3 minuten lopen van het appartement. De airco van het appartement was de tweede dag defect. Dit werd binnen 24 uur opgelost ondanks een nationale vrije dag. Niks is voor Mar teveel. Ze heeft ook goede tips voor de nabije omgeving. Wij raden het appartement dan ook ten zeerste aan.

Mar definitely deserves her superhost status. Her communication was excellent throughout. Mar greeted us and settled us into the apartment. She provided refreshments on our arrival. The apartment was very clean with fresh towels and bedding. The bed was extremely comfortable with extra pillows provided too. The toiletries provided were good quality and there were lots of little extras for added comfort. Mar likes to ensure her guests are happy with the apartment and get the most from their stay in Marbella. We had a great time and would certainly recommend to friends.

Incredible hospitality! Mar and Iciar treated me as if I were family or a dear friend. Of all the places I have stayed in these two managers were top notch. Anything I needed or any question I had a text to them resulted in an immediate reply. In addition to my own inquiries they regularly made contact to insure I was comfortable or to alert me of a local activity. The apartment guidebook was thorough including bus schedules, recommended restaurants, and shopping. The local bus stop is in front of the building and everything else is a short walk away including the old city. There is a gym and super market around the corner which is very convenient. My only very minor complaint is for firmer pillows but that is my own preference that doesn’t negatively impact the excellence of the apartment. The apartment is not on the beach nor large just right for one or two. I stayed one month and was not uncomfortable during that time.

So so helpful when we had an issue trying to use the apartment safe (our error !!) with occasional text messages with suggestions of local activities/events (market day). We really appreciated the late check out due to our evening flight, and the garage parking for our hire car was an absolute bonus. Before meeting Mar, I didn’t know what a super host was. Mar gave me the answer. She was super attentive to the slightest problem. She went out of her way to help me recuperate belongings stolen from my car, helping me navigate the police and parking authorities. When the slightest leak appeared, she arrived within minutes with a plumber. Mar has great taste. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on. Her decoration of the apartment was bright, colorful, and practical. The apartment we rented was well located, just a few steps from Marbella’s own town. We loved the location. The apartment is not luxurious but tasteful, with every square inch used to the maximum. If you want tons of space and a sea view, this place is not for you. The terrace is north-facing, to the mountains. If you want a value proposition with a super attentive host, it is a find.

The apartment was cozy and exceptionally well equipped. It had everything we needed and was perfectly clean. The location is ideal as both the old town and the more modern downtown area and also the beach are within walking distance. There is also a supermarket just around the corner. She thought about every possible detail from having a useful resource booklet available, translating the appliance guides in different languages, to having sandwiches and water available upon our arrival in case we had eaten on our travels. The air bnb displays exactly as the pictures portray online … it is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The place was extremely clean, bright, and modern! There was plenty of space to sleep and overall just live. They had everything you would need on a trip. The place was everything that was described on the app and was located in a great area! With that being said, Mar and her husband were the best part! We really enjoyed our stay in Mar’s lovely, bright and comfortable apartment. Having stayed in many Airbnb’s in different countries, we can honestly say that this was one of the best. Mar met us on arrival, what a warm, friendly person she is. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with excellent air conditioning and very well stocked. If there was something you thought you might need then Mar was already one step ahead of you, so check all the cupboards and drawers before you head out to buy anything, there’s a good chance it is already provided. There’s a baker around the corner with lovely crusty bread. Location was excellent, 2 minutes from the beach and a 10 minute walk to The Old Town. It was our first time in Marbella and we were very impressed, it has a lovely ambience. There are so many really good restaurants but if you like Tapas then Casa Blanca is the place to go. We used the beach chairs, towels, beach bag and umbrella provided, saving us €16 a day on lounger hire ! We would highly recommend this apartment, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Mar.

Ho My God!!!!! Mar’s place is the cleanest that I have ever seeing. Let alone how well it is equipped, I cannot imagine of anything that you might need that she does not have in that apartment. And Mar…well… she is more than a «host»… Mar is like you personal concierge during your stay, «Super-host» is not enough to categorize her, she is on another level. The apartment is perfect for a couple, and just like you see it on the pictures, but with more light, fresh, bright, really nice. Having stayed at various AirBnB apartments over the past years, I can honestly say that no host has been better prepared or more helpful than Mar. The apartment itself is a nice stroll from the old town, and even closer to the beach. There are many excellent restaurants, bars, and a very handy bakery for breakfast nearby. If you are looking for a clean, fully equipped, perfectly located apartment in Marbella, try to get this one before somebody else does. I certainly will at my next visit.

What a pleasure staying in Mar’s apartment. Everything is extremely well kept and the cleanliness is of the highest standard. Communication is excellent and you certainly get the feeling that nothing is too much trouble. The central location is great and is very close to the beach, shops ( superb mega El Corte Inglés store ), restaurants and buses. You can park your car in the underground car park and forget about it until going home time. All in all a highly recommended property with first class hosts.

Mar is an exceptional host; from excellent communication throughout to providing special touches such as welcome hamper with seasonal fruits. The apartment is just like the pictures and makes a great city base to explore the local area. We made great use of the local buses throughout our stay which were cheap and efficient. We hired bikes to explore along the coast to Puerto Banus and beyond. There are some lovely places to eat within a few minutes walk of the apartment, the beautiful beach and old town are close too. The location of the appartment is perfect, there’s a beach within 2 minutes of walking, countless of restaurants in the neighbourhood and every utility you will need (and more!). Old town Marbella is within 10 minutes of walking and you can Uber to Puerto Banús within 15 minutes. Mar has been extremely helpfull, quick to respond and kind all trough our stay. When we will visit Marbella again (and we will) we will not hesitate to book this appartment. Thank you for a perfect vacation Mar!

Absolutely fantastic! This apartment has everything what you can wish for – perfect location, amazing host, it’s clean and the internet works perfectly. I spent here 1 month working remotely and the internet reliability and speed were my biggest priority. And it all worked very smoothly. Besides that, you get a very central location – walking distance everywhere, including the seaside (just 1 block from the promenade). Therefore there is no need to rent a car. I could easily take a break from my work and go for a quick coffee to many of the nearby cafes or just for a walk along the sea. The apartment itself is very clean and the cleaning service is provided on a weekly basis upon agreement of the time and day. I appreciated it very much. And most importantly, Mar is an amazing host. She welcomed me with a cute welcome package of fruits, chocolate and wine. And was always available to help with any questions via Whatsapp. Because I was staying for a longer period, she even walked me around the neighbourhood and showed me the needed places – supermarket , gym, favorite restaurants and cafe, little local grocery shops etc. This was very useful as i didn’t have to loose time finding out by myself. Definitely recommend this place and I think I will be back in coming months.

We’re disappointed. Airbnb should have a category ABOVE Superhost! Bottom Line: Mar and Iciar have redefined what it means to be ‘super’. They offer a bespoke, couture experience. Truly first rate. They are thoroughly invested in you having an amazing experience. A small sample: • Patiently waiting for us at check in (we were late!) • Warmly greeted like old friends – it was as if we were continuing a conversation… • The place was immaculate – so much so that I almost walked through the shower glass door (!) • Mar and Iciar were in no rush. After surviving a cancelled flight and 12-hour journey from Canada, they were so sweet that we were re-energized and wound up staying out until late in gorgeous Marbella. • The ladies offered detailed, nuanced advice on where, what and when to do anything & everything. • They booked hard to get into restaurants; advised us about Barcelona. We have more – but we’re limited to 1K words! They made our anniversary SO special! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Honestly, if I could give Mar and Iciar ten stars, I would! I had such a fabulous stay in their beautiful apartment. The space is clean, cozy, and has everything you could possibly imagine to make your stay perfect (including a fresh pair of slippers!). The location is perfect — less than a 5-minute walk to Old Town and ten minutes to the beach. Mar and Iciar are the most gracious hosts, were incredibly responsive, and generous with their time offering great experiences in Marbella and Andalusia. My wife and I met Eva on arrival and she was affable and welcoming. She was quick to respond to a few travel queries I had and offered suggestions on what to do (incl checking bus routes/times for visiting places and sending me the links.) Complimentary drinks/snacks & pods for the coffee machine where all provided where sadly lots of other hosts don’t bother!! This was a big plus in my book. The icing on the cake however was the provision of a private basement parking space which allowed me to hire a car and not worry about where it needed to be parked – brilliant! The apartment is well located and you are handy to both the old town and the beach area with a superb view of the mountains. The bed was comfortable inc loads of storage & hangars. The bathroom had a great shower and plenty of hot water. A washer/dryer is in the bathroom was also great. Kitchen was compact but had what you needed though we didn’t cook much. The building is clean, accessible and has a lift – so all good!!

It is a very nice location. Even for a long stay. The pictures of the location are adequate. It is useable for a home office replacement. LAN and WLAN in the apartment with a good speed and stable connection are available. The kitchen is a good place. It is well equipped. You can feel it, that this apartment is used before by Mar. She keeps a very close eye on many details. Even a small problem (warm water was not running) was solved in less than 1 hour (incl. communication). Never experience this before. And she was not there at this time in Marbella and solved it. The cleaning service is fantastic and Covid conform. 1-2 min. by foot from the harbour. A very nice and big (a little bit expensive) groceries shop is close (less than 5 min. by foot) to the apartment All in all I would highly recommend this place.

I loved this top floor unit. It is perfect. Truly felt like home & has everything you need. The kitchen has all items to cook for yourself. The living room is right next to it & the couch was so comfy. After a long day of walking around, you can relax on the couch & watch TV. The extra little bedroom w/ a desk is a nice bonus. The main bedroom has the bathroom attached. Although another reviewer noted the bed was hard, I actually liked it. The bed is firm at first but I think your body molds to it. The bathroom is clean & newly remodeled. And last but not least, Mar is a wonderful host. Her and her husband are the nicest. They’re like the cool couple from Spain that you want to be friends with. I was there during the Christmas & NYE holidays and she would send me links to events that were happening in the area. So thoughtful. And the location is perfect. I could walk everywhere & a large market is right across the street. So convenient. I loved it! And want to go back. Thank you, Mar!

Situé proche de la plage et du Casco Antiguo (à 2 minutes chaque!), l’appartement est idéal pour faire du télétravail (très bonne puissance Wifi), profiter des différentes attractions de Marbella et faire du sport (ex. triathlon). Le design de l’appartement le rend très confortable, avec une jolie terrasse. Mar est une super hôte, très accueillante et elle a pensé à tout pour ses invités.

I have honestly never seen an apartment so well-equipped. It has everything you need to feel at home, from a hairdryer, washing machine, microwave, and ironing board to air conditioning and more. Quoi dire sur Mar et son logement ? Je commence par le logement , il est top sachant que j’ai une longue experience avec Airbnb dans plusieurs villes du monde mais celle là reste unique ; emplacement ,équipement, propreté , sécurité ….Quant à Mar, on a l’impression qu’elle est juste derrière la porte (métaphore) pour répondre à toute question (taxi, pharmacie, recommandations restos , marchés , centres commerciaux ….) . Elle nous a même donné une carte pour le déplacement en bus qu’on avait chargée .Aussi, elle m’a apporté un superbe tapis pour faire du sport . Mar est bienveillante, aimante , hyper gentille. Quant à son mari, j’ai fait sa connaissance le jour de notre départ et il était aussi sympathique . Jamais j’irai dans un autre appartement que celui de Mar à chaque fois que je suis à Marbella à moins qu’elle me refuse 🤣 5 étoiles pour elle et pour son logement ne sont pas suffisantes .Je viens de me rappeler , elle s’est chargée de nous prendre les tickets pour aller à l’aéro.

The place itself is PERFECT – the rooftop terrace was my little coffee and work nook, and the place is exactly as pictured. The walkability for me was key here- grocery store right next door, easy walk to the beach and tons of restaurants- Mar had plenty of recommendations and her AC came in so handy on the hot days. We had a super restful holiday at Mar’s accommodation. Mar was warm and friendly and showed us around the apartment upon arrival. The moment we stepped inside we knew we had picked the perfect accommodation, we had everything we needed and more. We slept well at night, we found lovelly places for morning coffee…everything within walking distance, we took the local bus to every favourite beach each day. Thank you Mar for having us and hopefully we will be back sometime soon.

We were in Marbella for a wedding and Mar’s apartment was beautiful! Perfect locational walkable to restaurants and only a few minutes away to the beach. Mar was very responsive to any questions we had and was super helpful – she even went above and beyond during a personal pre wedding hair emergency and saved the day! Great experience and if we are ever back in Marbella we will be sure to book again.

Mar is the perfect host – so welcoming, kind and amenable. Really went the extra mile for us regarding check in and check out. We loved the area so close to the promenade and old town. We are very used to staying in Marbella and like any apartment block you can hear neighbours sometimes as the walls are thin in case you are very sensitive sleepers but to us it was perfect!

Mar’s airbnb was beautifully designed and decorated. It’s super spacious and extremely well equipped. Mar was an amazing Superhost, and went above and beyond to help my Mum and I with anything we required. The location was amazing! We will definitely return again in the future. Mar’s apartment is exactly as described. It is comfortable , clean and has everything needed for a long stay. We stayed a month and the location was perfect. 5 minute walk to Orange sq and 5 /7 Mins to the beach. Mar always checked in with us to see if everything was ok. Communication was super.
